Doyle “Sox” Robinson
Cofounder & Executive Director
Cofounder & Sox Place Director of Operations and Development
Attorney at Coan, Payton & Payne, LLC
I joined the Board after I was introduced to a 19 year-old who was getting lunch told me his story. His parents had abandoned him when he was 8 years old and he lived on the streets alone until he was ultimately processed and re-processed through a broken juvenile court system. It was after that moment, I started researching the youth homeless situation in Denver and I was brought to tears when I realized that there were very few places the youth could go for a safe place to stay during the day and get a warm meal and clothing and other supplies. The kids we serve come to us out of human trafficking, addictions, and family and other abuse. Society has disregarded these kids. Sox Place brings the unconditional love of God into the lives of these great kids.

Once I was introduced to Sox Place through a very good friend I immediately felt a connection to Doyle and Jordan Robinson. At that time they were in the process of trying to find a new home and from that point on I knew I had to make myself available to this organization and help them in any way that is needed. Their mission is dear to my heart and I am always impressed and feel very lucky to be part of group that has given everything and devoted their lives to such a honorable cause.

I was first introduced to Sox Place at a church in 2005 through an appeal for volunteers to cook meals for Sox Place – I jumped on the opportunity. In 2006, I began accounting and administrative assistance to Doyle when his administrative assistant resigned. I joined the board in 2016.
Director of Systems Engineering & Dev Ops – Recently joined the Board after supporting Sox Place over the last 8 years in various ways. Over the last 10+ he has proven success in architecting/engineering technical solutions for small to large companies and managed the implementation and support of those solutions.
I first met Doyle through a former Board member, Dave Truzinksi, and was asked to help setup a couple of computers. I knew when I walked in the door that Sox Place is something I would want to be involved in in one way or another going forward. Spreading the word of the hope and services that Sox Places provides is something I am passionate about and want to continue to bring in resources to help support the mission of Sox Place.
