Sharing life with people. Sounds pretty simple, huh? But it's interesting how it's a natural tendency to just show up, go home, and stay in your own bubble. You're right, Benten. We are called to more than that. Thanks for the awesome post today. You certainly spoke to me!

So awesome, Sam!! So blessed to call you my brother...I love what you wrote and Sox Place is an amazing ministry! Risk IS what God uses to convict our hearts, whether it be to help ourselves or others and we can't wish it away, we should embrace it! So glad you guys do everyday, and I am sure those kids do too!!

Here's a quote that one of our first board members, Rick Barnes, sent me this morning: "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." Edmond Burke
Sox Place will never "do nothing!"

Benten,

Good luck with your bike program. I think it is a great idea and a great way to help the youth at Sox Place with cheap transportation. I hope the bike I dropped off today will help someone.

Regards,

Shea

So powerful and true! "Where were we..." we don't have an excuse...Jesus was there to touch the broken. Why aren't we? Thanks for what you are doing at Sox Place. Jesus is being seen...and His love is being shown.

This is a great example that if you God, He will answer. I hear "I don't know what I can do?" Then, like Benten, ask God for an opportunity to do something and He will show you. But you have to listen and then be willing to do it! Benten is a great addition Sox Place!
